

Worldwide Experience are on a Nationwide search for a qualified Veterinary Nurse to assist with the conservation department at Shamwari Game Reserve for 3 months.
This fantastic, once in a life time opportunity has arisen from the needs and requirements of the ever busy, and growing conservation team on the reserve.
The placement is available for 3 months and although unpaid will afford invaluable experience towards your career. Due to the nature of the position you must be a qualified Veterinary Nurse to apply.
The position is available from the end of February 2010 and all applications must be submitted by the 31st January. All successful applicants will then be screened and official interviews held for suitable candidates.

The position will require the following:
- Qualified Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Full UK or international driving license
- Day to day assistance of the Wildlife Director, Reserve Vet, Chief Ecologist and conservation department
- Assistance at the wildlife hospital
- Be prepared to work long hours. Some duties at the wildlife may require the successful candidate to stay up into the night to look after sick/injured animals
- To accompany and guide tourists around the wildlife department and rehabilitation centre
- The successful candidate should be charismatic as they will be featured in wildlife documentaries of the reserve
- The candidate must be happy to allow footage of themselves to be used in documentaries
