This conservation projects is based on the tropical island of Sir Lanka where you will assist with the Sir Lankan Wildlife Conservation society conducting community based research into Elephants, Leopards, Birds and Biodiversity to find effective solutions to conservation.

The project is spilt into two main research areas; Research into the conflict and impact between wild elephant and man on the island, and assisting research teams collecting and collating information on the Endemic sub species of Sri Lankan leopard.

This project is incredibly hands on and if you are looking for the hands on approach to animal research this placement is a must.
