Jo Perry: Experience with Vets Go Wild 22/07/2014

Day 5:

Jo’s fifth day began with a local breeder had 3 females showing the recessive yellow coloration and hoped to move them, the male responsible for the coloration and the other 20 Blesbok in the herd to a breeding area. In the afternoon, Jo had lectures from Dr Fowlds explaning to the class what drugs and what doses we could use to sedate and wake up Cheetah and Rhino. The early evening was tried a new sedation cocktail on a female Red Hartebeest and preparing for the next day with the Rhinos.
