Ultimate Conservation Voluntour 2018

Worldwide Experience launched the Ultimate Conservation Voluntour in 2017 in celebration of our 15th year of making a difference! This experience, now on offer every year, is an experience which takes volunteers on a conservation journey through South Africa showcasing several of our conservation projects along the way! Experience several of our conservation projects in one trip, along with other conservation initiatives within our network; initiatives based on strong relationships with industry partners established over the past 16 years!

This 12 day boutique Voluntour starts in Cape Town, progressing along the famous Garden Route of South Africa, ending at the spectacular Founders Lodge by Mantis in the Eastern Cape. Along the way, you will gain exposure to selected projects within our portfolio, giving you an incredibly diverse experience incorporating elements of:

  • Wildlife Conservation
  • Marine Conservation
  • Conservation Management
  • Game Reserve Activities
  • Tree Planting
  • Community Projects
  • Environmental Awareness
  • Exploring the beauty & cultures of South Africa
  • “Big 7” Wildlife

The Ultimate Conservation Voluntour offers you the opportunity to view the “Big 7”! You will learn about the conservation threats that these and other species face, as well be a part of the efforts to conserve these species and their habitats. Our dedicated guide will host your entire Voluntour, endeavouring to ensure you have a wonderful learning experience filled with fun as you explore South Africa and our projects. You will leave with a stronger understanding of conservation issues, knowing that you have made an important contribution.

Being a boutique voluntour experience, our Ultimate Conservation Voluntour is hosted at Mantis Collection or similar properties!

The voluntour is presented in association with our adventure travel partner, Freewalker.
